1. If you're following The Soul Piece and have been wondering what happened to it, this story is the answer! I paused SP to write this and now that I'm done, I should be back to posting SP soon. Maybe even during posting this. Thank you for your support and patience!

4. This story started as something short (ha) to help me get over writer's block. Thousands of words later, I'm excited to finally share it with you! It also came out of the realization that I'd never seen an AU where Dean wasn't a hunter, but still got helped by an angelic Castiel. (Not that it doesn't exist, I've just not read it myself.) Combine that idea with about four others that didn't work in any other story and you've got this fic. Which I dearly hope you enjoy!
