ah, tense chapter with a lot of description. I really liked the part about the wings and I guess their reason for being so long, Cas's total lack of understanding (since he doesn't calm Dean down...could have warned him XD) and his cool attitude in all situations?
And again, it's nice to see you point out the glimpses of his power and gentle reminders to Dead about the looming situation.
After...7 chapters XD I am finally commenting on how much I love Castiel's wings (forgot to mention this before), their emotional and character significance and how...alive they are.
And in...the first? chapter, I absolutely loved the imagery you described of his black wings arching over his head and trailing behind him along the ground.
